After military retirement, we decided to remain overseas and move from Okinawa to my wife’s hometown in Thailand. Life went from fast and furious (deployments, long work hours, and constantly changing targets) to slow-motion and relaxed (travel, a bit of gardening, family time, and amazing food/scenery).
